NEBS TESTING FOR CO EQUIPMENT

TUV's Raleigh Office recently received Verizon Independent Test Laboratory (ITL) Accreditation under the National Technical Systems (NTS) Testing Certification Witnessing Program (TCWP) to perform NEBS GR-1089-CORE.

This new accreditation complements the existing range of services offered by TUV's EMC Division. GR-1089- CORE is required by the telephone companies and TUV can now provide this testing and product approval for telecom equipment manufacturers that sell their electrical products to telephone company locations.

Wi-Fi ALLIANCE CERTIFICATION TESTING

TUV has been chosen to support the Wi-Fi Alliance certification testing program. In several locations around the globe, TUV will soon be providing 802.11b, g, and a testing. Click here for more information.

xDSL PERFORMANCE

TUV Rheinland of North America, Inc., Telecom Division, offers services for Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) equipment and component manufacturers. The DSL service incorporates a proprietary qualification and reporting program with precision performance test data and compliance reports.

The DSL lab is designed to ensure that test data is accurate and repeatable within the limits of the technology. This is critical from not only a technical perspective (ensuring that design decisions are made using reliable data), but also is invaluable to manufacturers and distributors who use third-party certification to enhance their image of safety and quality.

TUV Rheinland offers conformance testing to ATU-R and ATU-C specifications such as G.992.1, G.992.2 and ANSI T1.413.

TUV Rheinland also provides a wide array of performance testing useful to the development and marketing of your products.
