AS9100B– Aerospace Quality Management Systems

This standard is the aerospace industry standard for quality management systems, and is required for suppliers to the major aerospace original equipment manufacturers such as Boeing, General Electric and Airbus. AS9100 contains all of the requirements of ISO 9001:2000, the global standard for quality management systems, in addition to numerous additional requirements peculiar to the aerospace industry. AS9100 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization a) needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets the customer and applicable regulatory requirements, and b) aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable regulatory requirements. TRNA QRS is accredited by ANAB to perform aerospace quality management systems certification to the requirements of AS9100.
